I finally had the chance and inspiration to fill our living room wall. Peace.

Dahlia all ready to be wrapped and ready to go...

Dahlia is a gift for a baby who has one of the sweetest, kindest people in the world as a Grandmother. This is one lucky baby, that I hope to meet soon!

One for the happy couple

I have been holding back on posting this but since the couple has received their gift, it's time for the big reveal... my first couples monogram.

After this stage there will be more finishing touches and then the varnish! Stay tuned....

Then with this color I needed about 4 or 5 coats of paint...





Next I do a light pencil sketch of the lettering (not pictured).
